How do I apply for a position with Peet’s Coffee?

Please search our positions to apply online by visiting the career section of our website. As of January 2017, we will no longer accept paper employment applications and all applications must be completed online for consideration. If, in order to complete an employment application, you require an accommodation due to a disability, please contact jobs@peets.com or call Peet’s Customer Service at (800) 999-2132.

Why was I prompted to create an account to apply when I’ve already applied online previously?

Peet’s introduced a new online application system in October 2016. Due to this change, both new and returning candidates must register their profile through the system in order to submit an application.

How long does my application remain current?

In order to ensure we have the most up-to-date information regarding a candidate’s qualifications, applications remain current and active for 60 days.

After I apply online, how soon will I be contacted?

We will review your qualifications in connection with current employment opportunities at Peet’s. If your skills and experience are a potential fit for our openings, you will be contacted by the hiring manager regarding the next steps in the employment process.

What should I do if I received an application error?

We apologize for the inconvenience. Many issues will be resolved by simply exiting the application and opening a new session. Additionally, you can try using a different browser to see if that resolves the error.

What if I get an error when attaching my resume?

This issue may be caused by one of the following: Your resume contains JavaScript or your resume is in an unsupported format. How old do I have to be to work at Peet’s Coffee retail location?

The minimum age required for our retail stores is 16 years old. In accordance with state laws, if you are under 18 years old, you must be able to provide a work permit if hired.

How old do I have to be to work at the Home Office or Roasting Plant?

The minimum age required for our Home Office and Roasting Plant locations is 18 years old.
