Happiness in a cup with espresso, our Dutch Cocoa, steamed milk and candy cane-inspired peppermint syrup.
It works with the Cuisinart® Single Serve Brewer as well as other Keurig® compatible brewers*. It is Peet's recommended refillable single cup.
*Solofill Resuable Single Cup is not compatible with Keurig® 2.0 Brewing Systems.
I absolutely love this product. It allows me to drink the normal range of Peet's coffee without being limited by the K cups. It rinses easily and just requires a gentle wipe with a paper towel to clean it out in the sink at my job. Three months of daily use and it is wonderful.
I grind my coffee once a week, bring it to work in glass ball jars, and enjoy the best cup of coffee my keurig has ever made.
It has the consistency of french press coffee. There is always a small amount of sediment at the bottom. You can leave it be or swirl it in with your last sips and enjoy. Since it's Peet's coffee it isn't bitter...
So happy I sprang for this brand and didn't get the cheaper ones I found on Amazon.
Using one of these is the only way to go if you own a Keurig. Don't bother buying K-Cups. I find that grinding beans right beans right before brewing is really the best flavor and really the only choice me. Anything less than fresh ground, I can tell the difference immediately. I've tried lots of K-Cups, both Peets brand, and many other brands, and they are not that fresh, even though they are sealed, they still don't compare to fresh ground.
This single cup basket allows me to purchase whole beans in 1/8 or 1/4 pound quantity of each variety. I usually have lots of different Peets varieties on hand, at least 6 or 8, so I don't get bored with one variety. Also, buying this way eliminates waste, and I never have to worry about stale beans. Before I used to buy 3 pound bags at Costco, I would get bored, and the beans would get stale.
Only grind enough beans for a single cup, and compare the freshness with any sealed K-Cup, you will see what I mean right away. Wow what a difference in quality. I would highly recommend anyone who owns a Keurig or other brand single-cup brewer to get one of these. You won't be disappointed.
