Brew the Perfect Cup
Enjoy the best possible cup from your favorite brewing method by following these simple rules.
GET YOUR WATER RIGHT
Start with freshly drawn, filtered cold water. The best temperature for brewing coffee is between 195F and 205F. This can be reached by letting your kettle rest 30 seconds after coming to a boil.
The correct ratio of coffee to water is vital to achieving a cup that enables all of your coffee’s flavors to come through. For the pour over method and press pot we suggest using two heaping tablespoons of whole beans for every six ounces of water.
MIND THE GRIND
Many coffee lovers have a coffee grinder somewhere in their kitchen. Grinding before brewing ensures the freshest coffee by releasing the flavors and aromas inside the coffee beans so they can be savored in your cup.
PROTECT YOUR BEANS
Store your coffee in an airtight, opaque container at room temperature to protect it from the staling effects of heat, light, and moisture. Please do not freeze your beans.
