I would definitly get this one again....its very unique and for its cost being low for peets its a must buy. Its taste is almost impossible to describe but its very good and i've never had coffee like it before.

I am a life-long coffee drinker and have probably tasted everything out there. There are more expensive coffees out there, but not better. For me it is a tie between Sulawesi and Aged Sumatra for my early morning wake ups. Both are very full, have discernible nuttiness, and have virtually no after bitterness. I definitely recommend trying them both.

I HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS COFFEE DRINKER ALL MY LIFE, GRADUATING TO DRINKING ONLY WHOLE BEAN, FRESH GROUND COFFEE ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. I BEGAN DRINKING PEETS WHILE LIVING IN SAN FRANCISCO, A GREAT CITY FOR COFFEE APPRECIATION. I ONCE REMARKED TO A PEETS EMPLOYEE THAT I HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY JAMACIAN BLUE MOUNTAIN COFFEE BUT COULD NEVER AFFORD IT; SHE TOLD ME THAT SULAWESI WAS THE NEXT BEST COFFEE; I TRIED IT & SINCE THEN I DRINK NOTHING ELSE. FOR ANYONE WHO TRULY LOVES RICH, FULL-BODIED, COFFEE WITH A COMPLEX TASTE BUT NOT WITH A BITTER AFTERTASTE LIKE FRENCH ROAST, SULAWESI IS THE COFFEE FOR YOU!

I have tried about 6-7 different Pete's Coffees the past year, mainly dark brews and been very satisfied. This time I tried the Sulawesi-Kalosi blend and did not care for it. It had very unique flavors that tasted more like flowers than coffee. I do not like flavored coffee's and this reminded me of a flavored coffee. There were no issues with quality or freshness. My two favorites remain Major Dickenson's and Ages Sumatra, cant decide which one I like best so I will just alternate them till I decide!

Excellent coffee! The first time I bought it was recommended to me by a Peet's employee, she said it was her favorite, after making my first cup at home, I understood why... this coffee has the characteristic strength of a Peet's coffee, has great body, and a unique taste. Drink it strong and do NOT add milk or anything to spoil it, it tastes great by itself. Superb coffee!

Like fine wine, I went in search of a coffee my mouth would always want to taste . . . I knew, well . . . my nose knew it, the moment I smelled these beans, I'd FOUND IT! Never to disappoint when I grind and brew and have been buying it ever since. Signed up to be a Peetnik when I quit commuting to the BAY AREA. Well worth the cost of shipping! Shhh, don''t tell anybody, but I keep moving up my ship date afraid I will run out before my next delivery.

A friend bought me a pound of Sulawesi-Kalosi from *buck's years ago, and I drank it exclusively for several years. It then became "seasonal" and this year and was only offered for a month. Someone at work mentioned Peet's, where I could get it all the time. I have recetly received my first order and find it simply the best coffee I have ever tasted, and I won't try any others, even Sumatra or Guatelmala Angitua. If you like bold, nutty, but smooth tasting coffee, Sulawesi is the one for you. I recommend you try it and you''ll be hooked for life!
