The morning cup of coffee is all important to me. Over years of coffee drinking, I have used many types and brands of coffee makers. Most have been good, and yet I have experienced faint disappointment with my first cup. After reading some reviews on this site I bought a Bialetti. For my taste, it makes the absolutely best coffee, and further more, it is a no-brainer in terms of getting the right ratio of coffee to water. As an added frosting to the cake, the coffee pours out of the pot steaming hot. For those of you love your coffee strong and hot but without bitterness, this is definitely the pot for you. However, probably not a good choice for those whose tastes if for weaker coffee. Also this is not the coffeemake for those who must have brewed coffee waiting for them when they wake up, as the pot is totally manual, sans timer etc. For me, it is worth the twenty minute wait for the perfe

It took me a while but I learned how to really make nice espresso. The Bialetti website helped. First, it is not a coffee maker; it is an espresso maker. I believe people may be confused on that point. Having said that, with a medium grind it comes out full and rich. With an espresso fine grind it is more like espresso. A coarser grind is more like an Americano. Great device and value.

I have used this espresso maker for 3+ years and truly love it!! It has saved me a ton of money buying coffee from Starbucks and other places. This espresso tastes much better than those other places as well. You can't beat the price and I have bought this for friends and have become their hero!! Enjoy!
