Scottish Breakfast Tea should be strong on Assam, with secondary notes of Orange Pekoe for oakiness. This really doesn''t stack up to a good Scottish Breakfast.

I've never had anything but great tea and coffee from Peet's, but I have favorites. The best way to begin a busy day is with strong, complex Scottish Breakfast tea. It has enough body and flavor to wake me up, and that tea and old, old fashioned oatmeal are all a breakfast needs. It's a pleasant start.

It's simple....This tea reminds me of the Higlands of Scotland! The smokiness remimds me of those single malt whiskeys I love so much. To drink this tea feels like I am back trekking in the Higlands. And isn't that what a good cup of tea is suppose to do? Relax you and take you to places you miss??? I tried it once at Peet's cafe years ago and have enjoyed it ever since.

This is a wonderful full bodied tea that is full of character and flavor. It is a perfect match for my English blend pipe tobaccos I enjoy. The aroma of this tea fills the room with a pungiant, malty, smokey aroma that is truly invigorating. The flavor of the tea is remarkable with a strong malty component backed by sweet, smokey notes and sweet spices. I could drink this all day if I wanted to, I will definately be purchasing a pound of this tea for a constant supply. Highly recommended.

This is a robust tea; dark and full-bodied with a curtain of smoke at the back. The lovely lapsang character takes a bit-part in the blend and is indeed reminiscent of peaty Isaly Scotch, while woody, malty flavours carry the mix. I like mine with a teaspoon of sugar and a dash of milk. It's a good cup to begin the day with. Especially when it's cold and wet outside, this tea feels warming and nourishing. I wish it was readily available here in Scotland!
