This Chinese White tea is a wonderfully extravagant tasting tea! This Pai Mu Tan type that is possibly related to the Bai Hao Zhen or "White Peony" tea is full of grassy, bamboo flavors and if infused correctly, can yield a luscious floral, crisp cup of tea! Since it is a White tea, your water should be at 160-170 degrees F. (Boiling and waiting 5 minutes) before infusing the tea. The cooling process allows less bitter tannins from being extracted and keeps more of the flavorful theanine in tact. The leaves should be infused for 2-3 minutes and can be done so 2-3 times. Over all, this wonderful, full bodied tea is an excellent, "only white tea option" for the Peet's Tea arsenal.

This tea is delicious. As an avid tea drinker, I am always exploring different kinds of tea, and I was drawn to this one because of the mild flavor and lighter color, which stains teeth way less. The flavor is light and smooth, almost like an earthier version of green tea, but very subtle. I usually add honey and milk to mine, and this gives it a delicious creamy texture, but it's great on its own or with honey alone. Highly recommend it if you like more natural-tasting/milder teas, as opposed to the bolder English Breakfast or Earl Grey-type of teas.

Truly an amazing tea. Mellow flavor, but complex, changing as you enjoy it like a fine wine. Mild to full to sweet as it passes over your tongue. Makes me want to drink too much. I'm ordering extra so I can't run out.

As the weather begins to change, iced tea will give way to nice warm tea. One of my favorites is our Snow Leopard. The sweet, juicy mellowness of Snow Leopard will warm the coldest of afternoons. What i enjoy about Snow Leopard is the fresh, clean taste of the tea. I am looking forward to cooler days and warm, soothing tea.

I LOVE this tea! It is my all-time favorite. It is smooth, soft and mellow. Absolutely NO bitterness or bite to it at all. I never need to add sweetener to it. Even friends who are not tea drinkers have been impressed when I served it to them. I would love Peet's to try to find more white teas for us to try as this is the only one they currently offer. Meanwhile, I keep stocked up on Snow Leopard.

Snow Leopard is one of the best white teas I've tasted. It is mild and light but still crisp and refreshing with a clean finish. Snow Leopard makes both a wonderful morning or evening tea. I tend to serve it with desert at dinner parties and it''s always a hit.

Can't decide if Peet's named this one because it stalks you until you give into its charms or just because it's so beautifully smooth!! Either way, it is an inspired moniker for one of the best Whites I've tasted. Definitely keep a tin around for when friends come over with dessert - you won''t find a better accompaniment or conversation starter once pouring and sampling commence!! ****1/2 out of *****
