I wanted a simple drip coffee maker and finally found this on your site. It doesn't take up too much room, it is uncomplicated and makes excellent coffee.
I had to add a touch of color to the "pour" position of the lid in order to see it but no big problem. Overall, I would recommend this product. I am 82 yrs old and my life is full of new devices that are over-engineered and over-priced...this one isn't! Love it. Jan

So overall, a decent coffee maker. The pot I had previously was great, so there is a lot to live up to. I found the carafe leaks if you pour too quickly. Also, the water gauge is not placed in a convenient spot so you have to turn the maker to the side to monitor water volume. Other than those two negatives, I am pleased with the flavor of the coffee and the heat retention of the carafe - two important factors at purchase.

Coming up on my second year using this simple, reliable great coffee brewer. The 3-5 cup feature is brilliant, as pours in some hot water to burst the grounds, let it sit for a moment, then slowly add the remaining water. I have tried making 5 cups using the standard brew method, and I can tell the difference from using the 3-5 feature. The water filters are overpriced in my opinion and I haven't found any online vendor who sells them cheaper, but it's a small price to pay for better coffee. I recommend this to anyone who can't justify $200 or more for a coffee maker!
