I highly recommend this storage canister, particularly for those who live alone. I have Peets shipped to me here in NYC and, because I''m single, it takes me a while to make it through a whole pound. This product keeps the coffee so nice and fresh that my last cup is always as good as the first one was. If you're looking for an excellent storage container, you can't go wrong with this!

I prefer the "Chrome" (actually straight stainless) to the earlier painted ones. DO NOT DISHWASH THE ACRYLIC LIDS - they will craze. Paint comes off in the Dishwasher if you have painted, so get the "chrome". That said, these are excellent storage canisters. A pound just about fits (I put a little in my grinder and the rest in the 64oz canister). I use a separate one for my Major Dickason''s Decaf which I keep for evenings. In that use the beans are quite good for a month or so. Beans in the main working canister last only a few days; I pour them a day or so at a time to keep the humidity rights.

Easy to use, and keeps beans fresh tasting for a week or more, significantly longer than the jars and tins I had been using.

I absolutely LOVE the Airscape Canisters! My family and I use them for coffee and tea and they have been the best storage canister we have found. I love the 2 different sizes, as I have also used the smaller one to store sugar and smaller batches of tea''s. I really want to thank Peet''s for offering this terrific design! Keep the great idea''s and creations coming!!!

Great for keeping brown sugar moist too!
