First of all kudos to "Jennifer" at the Vacaville, California store for recommending this to me, it is very good, as I am a Arabica mocha java drinker, this is just as good if not better than the java blend. Very robust in taste and smell, smooth, yet floral to the taste, chocolatey yet, javaish, worth every bit of money I spent.

Try mixing Arabian mocha with Garuda blend! I've been drinking this blend for years, since I lived on Morgan Avenue and named the concoction "Morgan blend." It's much more flavorful than Mocha Java because Garuda blend is more flavorful than Java alone and I mix it 50/50 (some Mocha Java blends have only a third, or even a fourth, Arabian mocha, with the rest Java). It's full-bodied without being bitter, but I like to add a half teaspoon of turbinado sugar and a splash of Land o' Lakes fat-free half and half (most fat-free half and half has a bitter aftertaste; Land o' Lakes' doesn't and is the only brand I use). I also make espresso from "Morgan blend" and add Peet's Dutch cocoa syrup and steamed half and half to make the most incredible mochas!

Arabian Mocha Sanani has always been my favorite coffee, although I do try specialties now and again for variety and change of pace. Lately the AMS beans seem to be ever so slightly less roasted, not much, just a tad under roasted, thus the flavor is not as complete or as satisfying. Missing now is that ever so faint last note. I have been buying a pound a week for many years thus recognize the beans are not roasted to the same degree and are much dryer compared to prior years.

This was the first bag of coffee I ever bought from Peet's, and its has always been my favorite! Either in the morning or in the afternoon, this blend will give me that extra kick to get me through the day. I like mine black so the flavor is intense but not overpowering. Peet's has always been and always will be my coffee of choice!

I tried Pete's Mocha Java beans but found them too roasted, which if not killed then obscured the individual bean''s flavors with carmelization. Today I tried some Arabian Mocha Sanani beans which I assume are the Mocha component of Mocha Java. However, these were light~medium roasted. As others mentioned, a unique flavor not pungent! though I''d not say full not very full bodied as the ad does. Med-full yes. Flavor is very, very pleasant though not "exceedingly complex" and it''s quite smooth all the way. It''s actually rather a simple, steady, very good somewhat winey yes flavor but not as hyped as Pete''s ad. The kind to sip little by little for its distinctive subtleness not gulp down for a full mouth cup. Very unique and pleasant coffee but at $20.95/lb. overpriced. That's just TOO much to pay for any coffee even if very good coffee. So, it''ll be a much-welcomed now-and-then treat.

This coffee is unique for flavor and body. It is so *smooth* that my wife and I find it difficult to not make a second pot of coffee. We find that most coffee can easily produce a point of "saturation" for us. This one is so delicate as to elude that experience. We feel certain that anyone will be very pleasantly surprised at the bouquet, body and unique flavor of this coffee, and we recommend it to anyone seeking a truly magnificent cup of Arabian coffee.
