Our annual celebratory blend of pure black teas is rich and comforting with toasty, slightly smoky hints and sweet flavor nuances.
This blend draws on similar origins as previous years for its unique characteristics, influenced by the natural variances in flavor manifested during the recent crop year. Our core ingredient as ever is fine Darjeeling, but augmented with a special, floral-toned tea from the only tea estate in neighboring Sikkim. These high-altitude teas from the foothills of the Himalayas are bright, complex and fragrant. For balance and richness there are also classic China black teas: toasty well-seasoned Keemun and syrupy, cedary Yunnan.
Holiday Breakfast Blend is in sum a rich, aromatic, and slightly sweet cup with layers of complexity; big enough to take milk and sugar, refined enough to enjoy unadorned. It’s a blend that reflects the best lots of the year in a cup, crafted for enjoyment during the cold season.
