Keemun is a corruption of this tea’s name of origin, the Qimen county in southwestern Anhui province. In 1875, a young entrepreneur began producing black tea in Qimen, a place that produced only average quality green tea. Bring the water to boil; steep tea for 5 minutes.
Strain leaves while pouring.
