About this tea

Tea Story

This oolong gets its name from the tea bush variety, which translates as “four seasons like spring,” since it has the ability to flush four times a year with consistent character. The leaves are expertly handled to retain their fresh green color, and after production emerge as tightly wound balls. Smooth yet bright with a lilac scent, this is a delicious tea in any season.

Brewing Tips

Start with a preheated cup or teapot.
Measure 2 spoonfuls (3g) of tea for each cup of water.
Bring the water to boil; let it cool for 1 minute (190° F) before steeping tea for 4 to 5 minutes.
Strain leaves while pouring.

This tea is so addictive because it's so easy to drink! Buttery smooth with a sweet aroma that reminds me of honey or nectar. The leaves open to reveal large, very green tea leaves which really do yield such a fresh and flavorful cup. If you are a fan of Ti Kwan Yin (like myself who always has a tin at home) or looking to start drinking tea, this is a fabulous one to try.
