Top Blend was my favorite as well. I was disappointed to learn that it had been discontinued. Please make it available again on permanent or at least more regular basis.

I had been searching for the perfect roast for a number of years. When I tried Top Blend the search was over. I drank Top Blend continuosly from about 1999 until it was discontinued. Needless to say I was quite disappointed when Peet's chose to discontinue it. While I'm glad to see it's back for a brief period, I sincerely hope the company will consider making Top Blend permanently available again in their stores - not just as a limited anniversary blend. It could be marketed as a Peet's "Classic Roast" just as a well known soft drink maker marketed their most famous soft drink as "Classic".

I was drinking Top Blend everyday since 1989, When we left the Bay area the worst think I could imagine was not having Top Blend. I ddn't know how I would start the day without it. So we did online orders every week for years until it was discontinued. I have since discovered local coffee that is good and since I can't get Top Blend anymore, we don't order online. However, I have faithfully checked the Peets website over time in hopes to see it return. So thrilled I get the chance to have some again. I know it will be as good as I remember. San Francisco in a cup. A little taste of home for us expats! Please bring it back full time. Big mistake letting this one go.

Top Blend has always been my absolute favorite coffee from Peets. I was very upset when the blend was retired, as I have been loving this particular coffee since the mid 90's, when I first discovered it on a trip to Mendocino, where it was being served in a small coffee shop. I was hooked on the first sip! I have been trying to find a way to blend the available Peets coffee beans ever since it was retired. The closest I've come is a blend of 60% Guatemala and 40% New Guinea. I truly wish this blend would return to the stores. Very big sigh.

Top Blend is right up there with Major D in Peet's history and stature. I was sad to see it go. It was my favorite blend throughout the '90's and even inspired the name for the company I started in 2001, Top Precision. This was our house blend for many years at the shop, and I'm sure it fueled the productivity that got us where we are today. As a machinist, I appreciate how this blend is precisely balanced in body and liveliness. Right down the middle! As a musician, I love how this coffee is lively, spicy and nutty all at the same time. Like a beautiful song you have not heard for a long time, I am so happy to hear Peet's is playing this golden oldie once again!

This is the best coffee Peets has ever roasted. Mr Peet introduced me to it back in the mid-70s in Berkeley and it was always my favorite. It was his favorite too and it is disgraceful that it was discontinued after he passed. Glad to have it back. Hopefully it will be a regular, not just an occasional special.
