Shirin Moayyad
Director of Coffee Purchasing Shirin began her formative years in the coffee industry living in the coffee growing highlands of Papua New Guinea. She also lived eight years in Singapore where she was both the roaster and buyer for a small specialty chain. Together with the Peet’s team, Shirin purchases all green coffee requirements for Peet’s, forecasting needs and scheduling contracts. Additionally, she helps sample all roasts, a task which can amount to sampling up to 100 cups of coffee a day.
