How It Tastes

A single origin dark roast balanced at the height of bright and sweet, with a hint of berry that reminds us of the coffee fruit.

Each year, we celebrate our anniversary with an exceptional coffee that gives back to its community of origin. From the Mujeres Cafeteras in the highlands of Huila, Colombia, the finest coffee in the region happens to be grown by remarkable women. In 2019, in partnership with Coocentral and Sustainable Harvest, Peet’s established the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship, a program that helps female coffee farmers diversify their incomes and improve their financial resiliency.

Worth Noting

For every bag sold, we donate $1 to the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship program in Huila. Your enjoyment of each cup strengthens the future of the remarkable women who grow this bright, lush, single origin coffee. Their community strengthens as their livelihoods do, so their coffee can continue, and we can share it with you.

People & Planet

A collection that's dedicated to supporting communities and the environment where our coffees are grown, our People & Planet coffees highlight our decades of providing remarkable quality while caring for farmers and the land.

  • Direct Trade

Coffees from farmers with whom we have true direct relationships, enabling us to survey the social, environmental, and economic conditions on farms.

  • Farmer Assistance

A program that assists small farmers with the potential to grow specialty coffee, but who for a variety of reasons lack the skills or means to do so.

  • Certified Coffees

Evaluating coffees against social, environmental, and economic standards is one way to highlight the care that farmers show in growing and processing coffee.

Diversify, improve, continue

700 women, 1 story

It's been a year since the inception of the Women's Center for Entrepreneurship program. This year, coffee producer—and program graduate—Lucia Alvarez left Colombia for the first time, travelling to the United States to visit Peet’s and to experience customers enjoying her coffee. Watch her emotional journey.
