I love the idea of this drink, but the execution falls flat. It is simply way too milky. For reference, I LOVE iced espresso beverages and make Peet's iced hazelnut latte at home (2 shots espresso forte, 4 pumps Monin hazelnut syrup, milk and lots of ice) and enjoy a well-balanced sweet vs. bitter yet still bold (i.e. a little more ice than normal and a little less milk). The ratio of sweet to bitter is decent (maybe it could use a little less sweetener) and I think the drink would be very good if it had more of the espresso/caramel taking up the room of some of the milk.

Also, I found it best to chill the can in the fridge and avoid pouring the beverage over ice as that just further dilutes the taste and gives it a strange almost sour flavor (weird!). Be careful when you shake the can, I have to put a paper towel over the top when I open it to keep it from spraying everywhere like a soda can!

(Also, even with the critique, the caramel is better than the mocha and black and white which taste awful, in my opinion--found those flavors at a large bullseye department store sold individually and tried them, yuck.)
