How It Tastes

True Moka (or Mocha) is wild and complex, spicy and winey. Our favorite Sumatra is sweet with caramel and rich with herb, teak, and tobacco. Together, these two coffees form a transcendent, exceedingly rich blend—and one of exceptional rarity.

Our surpassingly rare blend, exclusive to Peet’s connoisseurs, and not to be missed. The secret to its deep flavor rests in its form—peaberries, coveted for their fine, concentrated flavors. We sorted two favorite coffees from Arabia and Sumatra for these tiny, prized berries containing one rounded seed instead of the usual flat two.

Worth Noting

Our favorite Sumatra is grown on the shores of Lake Toba in the Batak region, its coveted peaberries offering heightened flavors. True Moka (or Mocha) from Yemen is grown on remote rock terraces high above the Red Sea. High-quality Moka is highly sought after—beans sourced from the single region of Haraaz are even more so. The concentrated peaberries are the most rare of all.

The rarest coffees on earth, delivered to you fresh 12 times a year.

I love this blend. It is outstanding. I was about to subscribe when it went out of stock. I am looking forward to its return.

Chocolate city! Had a sip of cold coffee and for a moment, thought some cocoa must be mixed in!

Yea, Its that good. Ordered a second pound. Can't beat a fresh roast of peaberry. One of Peets best offerings..

The Blue Batak is great, so when this was offered, I had to try it. It is worth the price, if you appreciate a great Sumatran coffee
