Organic Black Tea Leaves

How It Tastes

Organic Black Iced Tea is a blend selected for a well balanced and satisfying glass. Strong enough to stand up to being iced and yet smooth enough to not become bitter or estringent.

Our tin and refill each contain 10 pre-portioned 1-ounce filter Organic Black Iced Tea bags. Easy and fast to make, each 1-ounce filter bag brews 1 gallon of iced tea.

Great iced tea—love the gallon sized bags and good price for organic. So glad I found this online.

It is with great sadness that I write this review :( I have ordered Mighty Leaf tea for a decade. I brew a half gallon of the black for my son and half gallon of the ginger peach for myself. I have done this daily for over 10 years since I first tasted this remarkable tea at an upscale hotel. I was confused as to why this tea is suddenly being advertised as "new." Usually the word "new" implies "improved." Not so. In this case the "new" means a downgrade. It is no longer whole leaf tea. It's chopped up into little pieces. It doesn't brew as clear and smooth. Basically it tastes like Lipton tea. Why would I pay 10 times more for something that tastes like the tea dust you would sweep of the floor? (Thats what I wrote in a previous glowing review to describe the difference between this tea and all others.) Sadly, my 10 year relationship to this company is over. Fortunately, there are still companies that produce whole leaf tea, but I will miss Mighty Leaf.
