How we are responding to Covid-19
USE OF FACE COVERINGS
Effective immediately, in accordance with the order of the Department of Public Health, face coverings are now required indoors in certain locations. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping our communities & employees safe.
Coffeebar employees will continue to be required to wear face coverings.
We will continue to operate with capacity limits that adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines in our coffeebars.
EMPLOYEE HEALTH & WELLNESS
Baristas are required to wash their hands frequently throughout their shift. Before each work shift, employees must complete a health check-in – including temperature checks – and are required to report any symptoms. Employees are provided with the appropriate PPE as denoted by local health mandates. Employees are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated and provided the resources and information needed.
COFFEEBAR CLEANING AND SANITATION
We frequently sanitize all high-contact surfaces in our coffeebars. Hand sanitizer is available for customer use. We will continue to perform elevated sanitation and cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of our consumers as we welcome them back to enjoy an in-store experience.
Our condiment bars will offer single-serve items in addition to a limited variety of dispenser-based condiments (such as cream, milk). Baristas will also add them to any beverage by request.
USE OF PERSONAL CONTAINERSEffective immediately, our personal “own” cup and bean paper bag programs are reinstated.
Customers can use the Peet’s app to order ahead, pay and tip for a contactless payment experience. For customers wishing to pay in-store, we have installed plastic barriers at our cash registers and provide hand sanitizer throughout our coffeebars. We encourage you to Order Ahead with the Peet’s app or at order.peets.com.
Our customers can have their favorite Peet’s beverages, beans, and food brought directly to their door using the Peet’s app, or by ordering via DoorDash, or at order.peets.com.
