Got this because my local Peet's was out of my current favorite which is Organic Darjeeling Kalimpong (others online dislike ODK but I love it). This one is undrinkable, however. Ordinarily I love Peet's teas, but I found myself pouring my cups of Organic Breakfast tea down the drain rather than drinking them. Twinings English Breakfast tea bags are better than this tea.

Excellent tea. Quite delicious as a breakfast tea or just simply ice tea. My sisters love it too as ice tea.

Very very disappointing that Peet's has discontinued its own brand of teas and substituted the undeniably inferior "Mighty Leaf" brand. Mighty Mediocre would be a more accurate name! Hoarding my last cans of the good stuff, but very sad about Peet's ill-conceived product decision.

Sorry to hear so many not like this tea, but I do. Perhaps it is because I am a recient convert to tea. I don't like the kind of tea I was brought up on in Ireland as it was too strong and bitter so switched to Coffee. This brought me back to tea.

I'll give it two stars. It's not a one-star tea; on it's own merits it is better than a lot of breakfast tea out there (note that they no longer call it "English" breakfast).

However, like everyone else, I sorely miss the Peets English Breakfast tea, which was the best there was as far as I was concerned. I drank it at home and would not travel without it. If I'd been on the ball about the change, I would have hoarded it.

Several of the other faves are gone or have had their recipes altered. It's still better tea than most, but it's not the same. Sad.
