I drink many teas, but this one remains my favorite. I drank a lot of it when I lived up in the cold north, but I still drink it back home in Texas. It has a beautiful smokey flavor that evokes a peaty single malt, without the downside of alcohol for breakfast!

This tea blend has an uncommon character. It is bold, earthy, and skillfully blended with a taste that will appeal to discriminating tea lovers. This is not a light , lady's afternoon tea-party tea, but a deep rich and very flavorful brew with a lot of masculine overtones. The smokiness is unique and perfectly balanced. A subtle seduction -- too good not to share with special friends. Or to enjoy alone -- it will raise your spirits instantly.

Evoking the peat bogs of Scotland, Scottish Breakfast has moderate smokiness (probably from a hefty mix of Lapsang Souchong) and a solid black foundation. I love it to balance the sweetness of waffles or pancakes with maple syrup.
