ICED PUMPKIN CHAI LATTE RECIPE
Serves one
Ingredients
For the Latte
Ice
8 ounces cold milk or alt-milk
1 ½ tablespoons pumpkin syrup
Pinch of pumpkin spice, optional
For the Masala Chai Concentrate
2 Mighty Leaf Masala Chai teabags
1 cup of freshly drawn filtered water
1/4 cup granulated sugar (reduce amount of sugar for a less sweet option)
1 lemon wedge
Directions – Masala Chai Concentrate (makes ~3 servings)
1. Bring the cup of water to a boil then remove from heat.
2. Steep the teabags 5 minutes then remove teabags.
3. Dissolve the sugar into the tea concentrate.
4. Stir in the juice of the lemon wedge.
Directions – Iced Pumpkin Chai Latte
1. Fill a glass with ice.
2. Pour milk or alt-milk and pumpkin syrup over ice, stir.
3. Pour four tablespoons of cooled Masala Chai Concentrate into glass, or to taste.
4. Top with a dusting of pumpkin spice, optional.
Tip: the remaining Masala Chai concentrate will keep, refrigerated, for up to a week.
