  • What is Peetnik Rewards?

    Peetnik Rewards is a program for our loyal customers, Peetniks! As a Peetnik Rewards member, you will enjoy a free drink after your first check-in, points towards free drinks, a free beverage on your birthday, and exclusive Peetnik Rewards offers.

  • Is Peetnik Rewards free to join?

    Yes, the Peetnik Rewards Program is completely free to join. Simply download the app through the App Store or Google Play.

  • How do I earn points?

    Earn one (1) point for every check-in with purchase with your Peetnik Rewards app, plus three (3) points on 1 lb. bean purchases at participating Peetnik Rewards locations. Fifteen (15) points adds up to a free beverage of your choice. $0 transactions and transactions containing only a Peet's Card load and/or reload do not qualify for points.

    Please note: you cannot earn points for purchases on Peets.com nor purchases made at grocery, club or “Proudly Pouring” locations.

  • Why do you need my birthday?

    As a Peetnik Rewards member, you’ll enjoy a free beverage of your choice on your birthday.

  • Why do you need my email address and phone number?

    Your email address is required to sign in to and manage your Peetnik Rewards account. By providing your email, you can also opt-in to receive messages about exclusive offers and rewards just for being a Peetnik Rewards member.

    We collect your phone number as another way to easily check in should you leave your phone at home.

  • Do I need to have a Peet’s Card to participate?

    In our coffeebars, you can pay with your Peet’s Card, cash, credit, or Apple Pay. For mobile orders, you must pay with your digital Peet’s Card.

  • Why doesn’t everyone get the same offers?

    We work hard to provide our Peetniks with personalized offers we know you’ll love. Make sure to opt-in to email and push notifications, as well as check your app home screen feed to view your current offers.

Checking In, Ordering, and Earning Points and Rewards

  • Can I earn points at every Peet’s location?

    You can earn points at all of our 240+ Peet’s Coffeebars nationwide. Currently, however, our “Grocery & Club” and “Proudly Pouring” (licensed partner) locations are not yet participating in the Peetnik Rewards program, nor can you earn points online at Peets.com.

  • How do I check in?

    Open your app and tap “Check-In.” Scan your QR code at the cash register after the Team Member has prompted you and taken your order. For mobile orders, your purchase also serves as your check in.

  • How do I redeem offers and rewards?

    View your available offers and rewards on your home screen feed. Tap “Redeem” to select the offer or reward you would like to apply to your order. Then, scan your QR code as normal when the Team Member has prompted you. Team Members can also manually apply any of your eligible offers to your order after you confirm it. Offers and rewards cannot be combined.

  • Which beverages are included in "free beverage" rewards?

    You can redeem your free Welcome beverage, Birthday beverage or 15-point beverage reward for any beverage on our menu, in any size. Beverage rewards exclude bottled and reach-in-cooler beverages.

  • How long are Rewards valid?

    Your 15-point beverage reward expires thirty (30) days after being delivered to your app inbox. Birthday rewards and Welcome rewards expire fourteen (14) days after being delivered to your app inbox. Promotional offers expire in accordance with their respective terms and conditions.

Managing My Account

  • I forgot my password. How can I recover it and log in?

    In the app, tap “Sign In,” then select the question mark in the “Password” section. Enter your Peetnik Rewards email address when prompted, then tap “Submit”. You will be sent an email from Peet’s with instructions on how to reset your password. Tap the “Create a New Password” link in the email. You will be prompted to enter a new password, then click “Submit.” You can now log in to the Peet’s app with your new password.

    If you originally signed up with Facebook, you must sign in with your Facebook account by tapping “Connect with Facebook” on the sign in screen.

    If you are signed into the app you can change your password any time by clicking the "My Account" icon and then selecting "Change Password".

  • I have a Peets.com account, do I have to create a new account for Peetnik Rewards?

    No. We recommend that you use the same email address and password to log into Peetnik Rewards so all of your Peet’s account information is in one place.

    If you forgot your password for your Peets.com account, you can easily reset it from within the app.

  • How can I edit my profile information?

    From the app home screen, tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. Tap “Profile Details” to edit your name, email address or phone number, then tap “Save” to save your changes. Tap “Change Password” to update your password.

    To update your birthday, please contact customer service by emailing: customerservice@peets.com or calling: 1-800-999-2132.

  • I don’t have a smartphone. Can I still participate in Peetnik Rewards?

    Absolutely. You can participate in Peetnik Rewards if you do not have a smart phone by signing up at PeetnikRewards.com. Then, use your phone number to check in every time you make a purchase in-store. Simply tell the Team Member assisting you that you would like to check in with your phone number. Please note: you cannot use your phone number to pay with a digital Peet’s Card.

    You can view your points and current offers in the "My Account" online at any time by logging into your account at PeetnikRewards.com.

  • How do I add value from my physical Peet’s Card to my digital Peet’s Card in the app?

    Tap the “Peet’s Card” icon on the bottom navigation bar in the app. Tap “Transfer Value,” then enter the number on the back of your Peet’s Card or in the email containing your eGift Card and the 4-digit PIN in the corresponding fields.

    Tap “Transfer Value,” confirm the transfer and you’re done! If you transferred a balance from a physical card, that card will now have a balance of $0.00 and cannot be reused.

  • How do I add funds to my Peet’s Card for the first time?

    Tap the “Peet’s Card” icon on the bottom navigation bar on the app home screen. Tap "Add Value" and "Add New Payment". Enter your credit card information or select Apple Pay, then tap “Done.” You can save your preferred payment method by toggling the “Set as Default Payment” switch to the right. Select the amount you would like to load, or “Other” for a customized option, then tap “Confirm Value.” Verify your card has been loaded with the expected amount by tapping the Peet’s Card icon on the navigation bar.

  • Where can I view my Peet’s account activity?

    From within the App, tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Then, tap “Account Activity” to view your account activity/history.

  • How do I send an eGift Card from within the app?

    Tap the “eGift” icon on the bottom navigation bar. Select an eGift card design by swiping to the left to scroll through all designs. Select your desired eGift card value or enter a custom amount. Your eGift card is automatically set to send upon purchase. Tap “Today” to select a different delivery date if you would like it sent in the future, then tap “Done.” Tap “Next” to add a personalized message to accompany your eGift card delivery or tap “Skip.” Choose the eGift recipient via your mobile contacts or by entering their email address. Fill out the desired remaining fields, then tap “Next.” Choose to pay with a credit or debit card or PayPal, preview your order, then tap “Send” to complete your eGift purchase.

Mobile Order Ahead

  • When will Order Ahead be available at my store?

    We are currently testing mobile order ahead in select Bay Area locations, and look forward to rolling it out to more coffeebars as soon as the test is complete. Please ensure you are opted in to email so we can notify you when order ahead is available in your area.

  • What is Mobile Order Ahead?

    We are currently testing order ahead at select coffeebars. Order Ahead allows you to save time and skip the line by placing a mobile order via the Peetnik Rewards app, and then arrive at the coffeebar to find your order waiting for you. To find coffeebars that accept mobile orders, select the “Order” icon from the app navigation, and tap “See Participating Coffeebars”.

  • How do I start a mobile order?

    From the “Order” icon on the bottom navigation bar, tap “See Participating Coffeebars.” To locate a nearby participating coffeebar, tap the magnifying glass (“Search”) icon in the top right corner and search by city or zip code. Tap the coffeebar you would like to order from then navigate through the menu to select items and customize your order. Modify your beverage selection according to the available options. When you’re ready to check out, tap “Review Order” then “Checkout.” Please note: at this time, you can only pay for mobile orders with your digital Peet’s Card.

  • Is the full menu available for ordering through the app?

    Mobile order ahead features Peet’s full beverage menu and an assortment of our most popular food items, beans and packaged teas.

  • Can I cancel my mobile order after it's been placed?

    You cannot cancel a mobile order once it’s been placed. If there is an issue with your order, however, please contact us at customerservice@peets.com.

  • How do I redeem a reward on a mobile order?

    If your mobile order is eligible for one of your active rewards, you will see that reward displayed under “Available Rewards” after tapping “Review Order.” Tap the available reward you would like to redeem, then tap “Redeem.” Tap “Checkout” to confirm your reward has been applied and then “Process Order” to complete it.

  • When will my points appear for my mobile order?

    After your order has been prepared by the barista your point(s) will appear in your app. You may need to refresh or navigate to another screen and then back to see your latest points balance.
