COLD BREW MARGARITA RECIPE
Peet's Baridi Cold Brew Margarita
If espresso martinis are your go-to cocktails in winter, this cold brew margarita is going to shake up your summer. It has all the things we love: cold brew (duh), tequila, and bright citrus. The orange essence of Cointreau brings out the heady East African floral aromatics in Peet’s Baridi Blend, which we crafted to shine when brewed cold. Reposado tequila really holds its own when you mix it with cold brew, too.
Not overpowering, fully balanced, this is a summer (or anytime) drink where all the ingredients act in harmony. (And, yes, you can actually taste the cold brew.) It feels like a margarita—bright and citrusy—with a bit of depth.
BARIDI COLD BREW MARGARITA
Makes 1 margarita
1 ounce Peet’s Baridi Cold Brew
1 ounce Cointreau
2 ounces Reposado Tequila
- Cut the lime in half crosswise. Thinly slice one wheel from the lime half and place in a glass filled with ice. Cut the rest of the lime half in half to create two lime quarters.
- Add a cup of ice to a cocktail shaker. Add Baridi Cold Brew, Cointreau, and tequila to the shaker. Place lid on shaker and shake!
- Strain the cold brew margarita into a glass filled with ice. Squeeze the juice from one lime quarter into the glass, swirl & enjoy!
